Telehealth Funding Opportunities
The School-based services site (SBSS) funding announcement is out. Funding is available to existing Community Health Centers/Federally Qualified Health Centers for new in-person and/or virtual sites in or on school grounds or expanding of an existing site. There will be 25 awards of $200,000 per year for 2 years for expansion of existing CHCs/FQHCs; expansion cane be for general medical, MH, SUD, OH, vision and/or enabling services. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) will award grants of up to $250,000 each for projects related to housing, community, and economic development. Points will be awarded to applications proposing efforts at prevention, treatment, and recovery for substance use disorder. Eligible applicants include public and nonprofit community-based housing and development organizations and federally-recognized tribal governments.

The COVID-19 Telehealth Program will provide $200 million in funding, to help health care providers provide connected care services to patients at their homes or mobile locations.
