Holly Bartlett, Vice President, Provider Solutions - Strategic Accounts, American Well
Brian Wayling, MBA, Assistant Vice President, Telehealth, Intermountain Healthcare
Many health systems silo their telemedicine program, making it difficult to expand the program to different clinical programs and new patient populations. By building a system-wide telemedicine ecosystem, health systems can improve operational efficiencies, attract and retain patients, and improve patient outcomes. Intermountain Healthcare, a Utah-based health system made up of 23 hospitals and 185 clinics, has developed a large-scale telemedicine ecosystem that reaches across its organization. Through this comprehensive program, Intermountain has been able to treat patients in many different specialties for both in-patient and out-patient care. During this session, Intermountain will discuss how it built a successful system-wide telemedicine ecosystem, and reveal best practices and lessons learned for other health systems looking to build out their telehealth programs more broadly. Intermountain will be joined by American Well, who has worked together with Intermountain on the implementation of telehealth technology to build a comprehensive telehealth ecosystem.
