The whole staff just got back to Billings after our third Regional Telehealth Conference in Portland, OR, last week. We had about 160 in attendance and had three days of Telehealth talk. Our meetings ranged from plenary sessions where we learned about aging in place, building a telepsychiatry practice, collaborative care and others. There were breakout sessions with discussions that ranged from providing patient care to working with “The Cloud.” Our Technology committee held a half-day Technology Summit, in which technologists from around the region discussed topics for ongoing committee meetings. It was a busy, hectic, pleasant gathering where we got to meet a lot of Telehealth providers, administrators, technologists and even equipment vendors at our highly successful and well-received Exhibit hall. But it’s finally over. And planning is starting for next year’s Conference in Seattle. Stay tuned for teasers, schedules, and invitations!
