I just got back from a meeting in Casper, Wyoming. It was with a group of people interested in telehealth, some already participating, some starting the adventure. It was a great meeting with several USDA representatives explaining how they could help with various projects and programs and a number of speakers already doing telehealth discussing new programs and projects. In the telehealth breakout session that followed the presentations, we discussed the possibility of keeping these meetings going, in hopes of building our momentum toward expanding telehealth in Wyoming and continuing to develop a statewide group of stakeholders who are willing to share information, assist new providers and expand care to underserved areas of the state. This is an exciting prospect for a former Wyoming resident and fan of telehealth and NRTRC will be doing everything we can to keep the ball rolling.
